Meet Our Staff

 

davestaffDave is Kennel Supervisor and has been at Danemere for 18 years. He is responsible for the day to day work at the kennels and sorting out any problems that arise.

He is very dedicated to his job and is a very caring member of staff.

Dave can also advise you with training and animal behaviour.

 

danDan is a Kennel Assistant and has worked at Danemere for 10 years.

He is currently owned by his 2 dogs 'Bodie' and 'Ben'.

Dan is a very efficient staff member who is always busy and gets things done. Dan is also in charge at the weekends or when Dave is away.

 

jasonstaffJason is a Kennel Assistant and enjoys walking the dogs and is very good at getting to know the personalties of the dogs that come in.

He is a very capable member of staff, who will try and advise you on which sort of dog would suit your lifestyle.

 

‘TJ’ is 18 yrs old and adores animals. He is very enthusiastic about his work and excellent with the animals.

 

Meet Our Volunteers

 

Olive has been volunteering for a long time and is really committed to the rescue, she helps us out with the cats by cleaning, feeding and caring for all their needs.

She is always willing to answer any visitor's questions or finding help them to find the right cat(s).

Olive helps us out several times a week, no matter what the weather, she is a very caring person. She is extremely dedicated and we are very lucky to have her here.

Trish has been volunteering for a while, she helps us walk all our rehoming dogs.

She also gives our cats a fuss so they don't feel left out.

Trish can be seen here with her own dog.

 

julievolJulie & John a husband and Wife team!

They both regularly come to visit our rehoming cats.

Both Julie and John spend time with them, getting to know each cat and their likes and dislikes.

The stray cats almost seem to know the days they are coming to see them!

Julie and John are very friendly and caring people and they have also helped us at many fundraising events.

They have a good relationship with the staff and animals and are a joy to have volunteering.

They are willing to help with the cats and make sure they all get a nice treat so as you can imagine the cats are very excited to see them both!carolvol

Carol also makes sure our rabbits and guinea pigs aren't forgotten, by giving them some delicious vegetables from her garden!
